RIDGE TO REEF
ARK's Ridge to Reef Programme aims to bring communities together and facilitate public projects that help reduce localised flooding, island erosion, and sedimentation in nearshore coastal waters.

What is Ridge to Reef?
The ‘ridge to reef” concept is a holistic approach that takes into consideration all the environments from the top of a mountain down past the shoreline to the coral reefs fronting the land. It encompasses the multi-dimensional environmental, socio-cultural and economic characteristics of communities existing within a geographically shared area, a 'watershed'. |
